Take 3 – Variations!

During the Christmas period we had some time to think of all our choices, since we were waiting for Boutique Sales Manager to finalise a few of our requirements which meant our file was still open.

So, we decided to put our thoughts at ease and go with timber flooring.
We both like light timber and the Rocky Oak was a winner. This meant we had to make changes to our bathroom choice and kitchen cupboard.

My mom suggested to place a single sink to the kitchen bench space opposite the stove.
Yesterday, we made all our final choices and we are now waiting for our land to title.

Here is a list of changes:

  1. I contacted them today and got told that too! She said they got the subdivision documents this week from the council to send over to the titles office next week… so slow!

  2. Hi
I’m about to sign with Boutique and I stumbled across your blog with a sigh of relief. Thank you for documenting your journey – it’s been invaluable to me. I can’t wait to see your progress.

    • Hi Fi, thanks for the compliments.
Remember not to rush any decisions and to visit as many boutique display homes.
My Pre-Start consultant was awesome. Not sure if they still have the refer the friend reward but if you like you can mention my name and $750 will go towards your colour selection. I did that and used the allowance to upgrade on the toilet. All the best with your build and if you have any questions I am happy to answer them. The flooring was the hardest decision for me if you get this right first it’s easy to select everything else.

  3. Hello!
Thanks for your advice – I’ve signed my PWC proposal last night (!!! terrifying !!!).
Yes, please do the reciprocal thing ‘Refer a Friend’ for us both – a Myer voucher for you, more colour dollars for me! I think you have to refer me (?) and not vice versa, so shoot me an email @ fifizebra@gmail.com and I’ll lodge it asap. Hopefully Dean will let me sneak it in…..

    • I have not been out to the estate and this weekend seems like I won’t get time. My builder contacted them for a soil test but they have not responded.
I hope you get your email soon too.

      • I think we went about 6 weeks ago and they had it blocked off and a security person was there. I asked what the reason was for the fence off and he said for safety. I wasn’t convinced. Well, won’t hold my breath for a speedy reply from the Developers. I hope the soil test comes back positive and doesn’t create a set back. This project has dragged on I am getting use to loooooong delays!
